Grill Times is operated by John Cooley ("we", "us", "the seller"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms and confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have authority to bind the organization you represent.

Grill Times is a recipe and cooking app: a collection of classic recipes and cocktails, cooking and drink timers, serving scaling, a shopping list, and AI features that generate and suggest recipes. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan.

You must not misuse the service. That includes:

• Using it for anything unlawful, or for fraud or spam.
• Infringing intellectual property rights, including uploading content you have no right to use.
• Interfering with the service's security: introducing malware, probing or scanning our systems, or scraping the service at scale.
• Reverse engineering the service, reselling or redistributing it, or circumventing plan limits.

Some recipes and photos are generated by AI. AI outputs may be inaccurate — always use your own judgment on food safety, cooking temperatures and allergens. You are responsible for the ingredients and prompts you submit, for how you use the outputs, and for having the rights to any content you provide. You must not use the AI features to produce illegal content, hate speech, or instructions for harm. We may remove or restrict content, filter outputs, and suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights. Rights holders can email us at contact@grilltimes.com to request a takedown.

We retain ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the software, design, branding and documentation. You keep ownership of content you add; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.

Paid plans are sold through Paddle.com, our online reseller. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the Plus page, and access continues until the end of the current period.

Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for providing accurate information and keeping it up to date.

We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your access ends, your recipes and data may be deleted after a reasonable period.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, and disputes will be heard in its courts. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
